Mac Web Stack

Installing and configuring a MAMP web stack requires root access to your Mac, turning on Apache and PHP, and installing MySQL. Carry out the process in the order listed below.

  1. Enable The Root User Account In Mac OS X, 10.8.x and 10.9.x
  2. Enable Apache 2 on Mac OS X, 10.8.x and 10.9.x
  3. Enable PHP on Mac OS X, 10.8.x and 10.9.x
  4. Install MySQL and Configure MySQL with PHP
